国内首座综合性教育博物馆位于陕西师范大学长安校区，总建筑面积23000平方米，展厅面积约7000平方米，展藏近万件。
      教育博物馆第一笔建设资金由著名慈善家、爱国人士、我校名誉教授何崇本先生捐赠；工程由著名建筑设计大师张锦秋院士主持设计，规模宏大、设施一流，庭院式建筑风格简洁大气、宁静优雅，兼具中国传统韵味和鲜明时代特征。
      教育博物馆内设中国教育馆、妇女文化馆、书画艺术馆、历史文化馆、校史展览馆，集教育、研究、收藏、保护和展示功能于一体，在构建高校博物馆育人新平台、服务学校教学科研、服务社会公众教育、彰显教师教育办学特色、传承中华优秀传统文化等方面发挥着独特而重要的作用。

The first comprehensive Education Museum in China is located in Chang'an Campus of Shaanxi Normal University, with a total area of 23,000 square meters and the exhibition hall area of about 7,000 square meters, with nearly 10,000 exhibits。
   The first construction fund of the Museum of Education was donated by Mr. He Chongben, a famous philanthropist, patriot and honorary professor of our school; the project was designed by academician Zhang Jinqiu, a famous architect of China. The museum is grand in scale, and superb in facilities。 It has simple and elegant courtyard style, with both Chinese traditional charm and distinct features of the new era。
   The Museum of Education consists of five rooms: Museum of China's Education, Museum of Women Culture, Museum of Calligraphy & Painting, Museum of History and Culture, Museum of School History。It integrates the functions of education, research, collection, protection and exhibition。 It plays a unique and important role in building a new platform for university museums to educate people, serving school teaching and scientific research, serving public education, highlighting the characteristics of teachers' education, and inheriting Chinese outstanding traditional culture。
